The car from "The Pink Panther" was designed in 1969, and was used in the NBC television series of the same name from 1969 to 1976.

The car was designed by Jay Ohrberg, who was involved in the design of the smart from the TV series "Knight Rider", the legendary DeLorean from "Back to the Future" and many other iconic movie cars.
